Meet the Founder
Lumacy Ventures was founded by Jessica Biscope — a lifelong animal lover, serial entrepreneur, and believer in the bond between pets and people. Over the past 40 years, pets have shifted from the backyard to the heart of the home, and research continues to confirm what so many of us feel instinctively: pets change our emotional lives in profound ways.
For Jessica, this truth became clear through her dog Sunshine, whose presence has been life-changing for her family. As emotional support for her daughter with special needs, Sunshine has shown just how powerful the bond between pets and people can be. Inspired by that bond — and backed by more than a decade of experience in the pet industry — Jessica created Lumacy Ventures to share products that ease stress, spark connection, and make everyday life with pets simpler and more joyful. The same way these products have helped her own family.
